The Demand Tech Forecasting team is seeking a science leader to drive the development of industry-leading campaign forecasting solutions. This role sits at the intersection of science, technology, and business strategy, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of forecasting at scale. You will lead efforts to establish robust measurement frameworks, design and run experiments, build machine learning models, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and deeply impactful.
Success in this role requires balancing scientific rigor with real-world constraints—ensuring forecasts are not only accurate and robust, but also sensitive and explainable to customers. You'll tackle challenges such as high-dimensional feature spaces in campaign setup, data scarcity across diverse inventory and audience segments, and the capability for adapting to evolving business and technology environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, a strategic mindset, and the ability to inspire and grow a high-performing team, all while delivering insights and innovations that shape business decisions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $196,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $340,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
