As an employee, you'll be part of a continually growing organization, working alongside exceptional colleagues and strategic partners worldwide, contributing to global health initiatives.

Moderna's commitment to advancing the technological frontier of mRNA medicines ensures a challenging and rewarding career experience, with the potential to make a significant impact on patients' lives worldwide.

Moderna is solidifying its presence within our international business services hub in Warsaw, Poland, a city renowned for its rich scientific and technological heritage. This hub provides critical functions, meeting the growing demand of Moderna’s global business operations. We're inviting professionals from around the world to join our mission and contribute to the future of mRNA medicines.

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) at Moderna, you will lead the orchestration of cutting-edge software development initiatives that are vital to our technology roadmap. This role is tailored for individuals who blend deep technical fluency with an innate product mindset and thrive in environments where urgency and ownership shape outcomes. Based in Warsaw, you will operate as a key individual contributor, ensuring software and digital innovation are delivered with precision, speed, and impact across our global organization.

You will serve as a linchpin between engineering, product, and business stakeholders—translating strategic goals into executable technical plans. Your work will directly influence how we launch and evolve mRNA-powered platforms, enabling critical business functions and, ultimately, improving patients’ lives.

From requirement scoping and architectural consensus-building to budget allocation, delivery risk mitigation, and issue triage, you will guide product releases through the complete development lifecycle. If you are energized by solving complex delivery challenges and passionate about building the infrastructure of transformative healthcare, this role offers unmatched potential.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Driving the full software development lifecycle for complex initiatives, from defining requirements to ensuring delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Partnering deeply with engineers and product managers to scope technical strategy, timelines, and workstreams aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Managing interdependencies, timelines, and execution plans for successful delivery of strategic programs.
  • Maintaining clear, high-fidelity project roadmaps and delivering on commitments with speed, clarity, and collaboration.
  • Monitoring project progress and proactively resolving execution risks through structured risk analysis and mitigation.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Translating customer and business needs into concrete technical requirements, aligning product trajectory and budget planning.
  • Identifying and solving cross-functional challenges at both technical and organizational levels.
  • Allocating tasks and making resource-related decisions based on skills, availability, and technical complexity.
  • Evaluating and acquiring tools/software to ensure successful product execution; participating in hiring decisions as aligned to roadmap needs.
  • Facilitating technical consensus across engineering teams, while maintaining agile responsiveness to feedback and changes.
  • Ensuring rigorous issue triage and bug resolution post-release, preserving velocity and quality.
  • Continuously scanning for delivery risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies.

The key Moderna Mindsets you’ll need to succeed in the role:

  • “We act with dynamic range, driving strategy and execution at the same time at every step.”
  • As a TPM, you will not just coordinate execution—you’ll also influence architectural decisions, resource planning, and roadmaps, while still ensuring hands-on delivery management in real time.
  • “We digitize everywhere possible using the power of code to maximize our impact on patients.”
  • In this role, you will be enabling the digitization of business capabilities at scale. You’ll work with engineering teams to ensure Moderna continues to harness technology as a force multiplier in health outcomes and innovation.
