SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST

IMT Insurance is hiring an enthusiastic Sr. Programmer Analyst to join our team of developers. This individual will work to support existing legacy (mainframe) systems while building their skillset for web-based system enhancements and support. You must be self-motivated, eager and willing to suggest new efficient enhancements from automation to design. Apply online today!

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Work to support and enhance our current products while working, in a collaborative team environment, to analyze, develop, and implement efficiencies.
• Work with subject matter experts to understand legacy system development layout, process, and procedures.
• Work independently but also in a cooperative manner for larger projects.
• Participate in ‘on call’ rotation.

DESIRED QUALIFICAITONS

• Web programming (Python, Perl, .js, etc..).
• Strong working knowledge of SQL language. Ability to create own queries, write/update stored procedures.
• Proven ability to design, code, document, test and debug complex applications with a high level of accuracy
• Responsible for individual project management
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
• Experience programming in COBOL is a plus.
• Knowledge of JCL, DB2, CICS, Fileaid, TSO. Experience on IBM Z/OS mainframe is a plus.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Fundamental understanding of system development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to details.

The salary range for this position is $69,000.00 - $126,000.00

Starting salary and level of position will depend on level of experience

This position is not eligible for tips or commission but may be eligible for additional bonuses
