Position Summary:

KBR, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Senior Program Manager to lead a multi-faceted Modeling and Simulation (M&S) initiative supporting data-driven decision-making across a major defense acquisition program. The Program Manager will be responsible for the full spectrum of program execution, including cost, schedule, and performance; resource planning; stakeholder engagement; and delivery of integrated modeling and analytics capabilities. The role requires strong coordination across technical teams and routine communication with senior Government stakeholders and decision-makers. This position will be primarily executed from inside government on-site facilities at Eglin AFB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of a complex M&S program to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, integrated master schedules, risk management processes, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery of capabilities.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation, including staff assignments, subcontractor coordination, and material and data requirements.
  • Manage the program budget including cost tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with programmatic, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct cross-functional teams responsible for modeling production workflows, sustainment operations, supply chain infrastructure, and associated analytics.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including regular briefings, reviews, and coordination meetings with Government customers and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly program reports to both internal leadership and Government stakeholders.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for program execution and issue resolution, ensuring alignment between technical deliverables and stakeholder priorities.
  • Guide Agile development and iterative delivery of analytical tools, simulations, dashboards, and decision support applications.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and compliance standards, including procurement, finance, HR, and security
  • Oversee the coordination and approval of travel in support of program activities, ensuring alignment with task priorities and budget constraints.
  • Support training and knowledge transfer activities to ensure Government personnel can operate and sustain delivered models and tools.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing complex programs, projects, or organizations, with demonstrated success in delivering against cost, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder engagement in government, defense, or similar environments.
  • Strong background in program planning, resource management, and execution oversight.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated high performance in briefing senior leadership and translating technical results into actionable program decisions.
  • Current Secret security clearance is required
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance is required

Desired:

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) programs or supporting complex acquisition efforts.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle management, supply chain, production, or sustainment processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, digital engineering, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools or the delivery of complex data analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with cost modeling, contract pricing, economic analysis, or sustainment cost estimation.
