The role of Finance Controller - SBU Center of Excellence is to provide financial guidance and strategic analysis and execution in given SBU and location. You will manage all financial channel activities including the monthly closing cycle, reporting, building weekly/monthly estimates and the development of the annual plan.

The position is located in Brno/Czech Republic, directly reporting to EMEA SBU CoE Project Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the SBU business commercial and marketing teams
• Challenge the business by delivering analysis of the numbers and scenario modelling
• Understand the commercial competitive environment and influence the decisions making process
• Responsible for all reporting for SBU and location and the calculations of important metrics
• Communicate monthly financial results including deviation analysis, explanation of performance drivers/opportunities and main metric reporting
• Present of monthly customer P&Ls including overview of account profitability including customer rebate agreements
• Provide any ad hoc analysis by sales management of multiple levels. This includes customer profitability, margin analysis, contract analysis, etc.
• Plan, preparation, and implementation of the annual budget process and Independent Merchant customers
• Monthly closing process - coordinate activities to ensure results are accurate and explainable
• Work with business to develop ACTs for all tinting machines loaned to customers
• Also, there will be ad-hoc projects and work

Qualifications

• You will be asked to hold a relevant degree and a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications
• Exposure to PPG IT systems (HFM, Essbase, SAP, BeX)
• Business and commercially aware, with experience working in a commercial environment
• Effective stakeholder management and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to explain financial data to non-financial partners
• Eye for accuracy, independent and solution-oriented
• Proficiency in English, knowledge of a second language will be an additional asset
