Job Title: Phlebotomist - Draper

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood draws at a busy patient service center. This facility manages 100-150 patients daily, requiring the ability to handle 30-40 draws independently. Responsibilities include data entry, specimen processing, and preparing labs for shipment. Candidates with hospital or outpatient lab experience are preferred. This role involves administering a full menu of tests and rotating between front desk duties, patient service, and other testing tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform 30-40 blood draws daily without assistance.
• Enter data accurately and process specimens.
• Prepare labs for shipment efficiently.
• Administer a comprehensive range of tests.
• Rotate between front desk, patient service, and other testing roles.

Essential Skills

• Phlebotomy experience with blood draws and venipuncture.
• Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.
• 6 months of clinical phlebotomy experience required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Hospital or outpatient lab experience strongly preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with plasma augmented by traditional phlebotomy.
• Familiarity with testing menu is a plus.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday with shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM. The facility operates from 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM. Employees are required to wear scrubs and closed-toe shoes, with lab coats provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
