Job Description

This exciting opportunity invites a seasoned Sr Estimator/Project Manager to join a thriving general contractor team. The role is pivotal in the Pre-Construction process with potential involvement in Project Management phases of Multi-Family Development Projects. You will be responsible for providing Pre-Construction Services and Hard Bid Estimates to clients, managing projects from inception to completion, and spending approximately 80% of your time estimating and 20% in project management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate hard bid estimates for multi-family developments, including material and labor costs, and review subcontractor scopes of work and bids.
• Analyze prints, specifications, and owner requirements to develop precise cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project needs are met.
• Identify risk exposures, value engineering opportunities, and cost-cutting measures during Pre-Construction.
• Present and submit finalized bids to prospective clients.
• Oversee multi-family projects from inception to completion.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in multi-family estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards across various regions.
• 5+ years of experience delivering multi-family bids on a national scale.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and PlanSwift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience working with mixed-use, apartment, and sr living projects.
• Exposure to building regulations in multiple states is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
