The Department of Physics & Astronomy is seeking qualified part-time temporary faculty to teach introductory Physics and Astronomy courses at Rowan University. Most opportunities are in the area of introductory laboratory teaching assignments, though assignments in introductory lecture sections are possible. Occasional opportunities for teaching advanced and selected topic courses are available.
Qualifications: A minimum of a master's degree (or equivalent) in physics or a related field is required.
Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and strong recommendations from references. All applications will be retained for future adjunct appointments.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
