Spherion Mid Ohio is recruiting a driven, engineering-degreed professional to take on a Sales Engineering / Account Management role with a leading company in advanced manufacturing. The Role: Where Technical Meets Tactical

You’ll work closely with a team of seasoned professionals to drive custom product programs for large OEMs in the automotive, industrial, appliance, and heavy truck sectors. Your mission? Build relationships, provide engineered solutions, and grow business through strategic, high-value projects. This is not a catalog sales position.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead business development efforts at key target customers
  • Support and manage complex program launches across multiple industries
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to tailor engineered component solutions
  • Travel and build relationships with clients across diverse cultures
  • Guide customers through processes like APQP, PPAP, and new product qualification

Do You Have What It Takes? Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
  • Sales and/or Program Management experience in manufacturing environments
  • Industry experience in one or more: automotive, industrial, heavy truck, or major appliances
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes like castings, molding, wire harnesses, tooling, or machining
  • Comfortable managing technical project requirements from concept to completion
  • Willing and able to travel for client visits and global collaboration
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, self-directed mindset
