Summary:
The Program Associate will be responsible for the program development, implementation, technical support, evaluation and effort reporting of the Best Care early childhood professional development program.
Duties:
Coordinate Best Care program efforts including program development, marketing, reporting and evaluation.
Collaborate with Early Childhood Instructor, Early Childhood Program Associate and FCS subject matter specialists.
Manage the implementation of early childhood professional development statewide.
Assist Family and Consumer Science Agents with Best Care training throughout the state.
Assist subject-matter specialists in the development and management of Best Care training materials.
Organize and implement in-service training for Family and Consumer Sciences Agents.
Work with advisory groups, external stakeholders, and early childhood professional associations to implement research-based content.
All other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Science, Early Childhood Education or related area with three years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in curriculum development or professional development training; experience providing technical assistance to educators.
Master's degree preferred.
