What you´ll do

  • Serve as the Network Administrator for the data centre network infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
  • Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN architecture, with a focus on Cisco and Aruba solutions.
  • Support and maintain network segmentation, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and Layer 2/3 switching technologies.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network proxies for secure access and data flow control.
  • Conduct network health checks, latency analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain and optimize network redundancy and failover systems, including HA pairings and link aggregation setups.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to network devices, circuits, and data centre interconnects (DCI).
  • Ensure proper operation and patching of network operating systems (Cisco IOS/XE, NX-OS, Aruba OS).
  • Utilize network monitoring and management tools such as Aruba Central, ServOne, and others to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Administer and maintain DNS/DHCP, NTP, SNMP, and syslog services relevant to data centre operations.
  • Support out-of-band management and access via Raritan, iDRAC/iLO, and other remote console tools.
  • Work closely with systems and application teams to ensure network integration with servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain network change control procedures in compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive network documentation is maintained, including logical/physical diagrams, runbooks, and equipment inventory.
  • Collaborate in planning and execution of data center network migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
  • Support compliance, auditing, and security hardening initiatives within the network domain.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT service delivery and network operations within a critical support environment.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within a data centre or enterprise infrastructure environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco network platforms (LAN/WAN), and familiarity with Aruba network devices.
  • Strong understanding of network security (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with VoIP, SD-WAN, and remote access technologies.
  • Familiar with tools such as Telnet/SSH Clients, ServiceNow, and remote console access (Raritan or Terminal Server).
  • Sound understanding of Server Administration basics where applicable (firmware updates, basic performance and capacity metrics).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in English communication (spoken and written).
  • Experience with project collaboration across cross-functional IT and infrastructure teams.
