Montefiore Medical Center is proud to announce the upcoming launch of a new acute inpatient psychiatric facility dedicated to providing high-quality, short-term psychiatric care for children and adolescents. This specialized unit will enhance access to timely, developmentally appropriate mental health services, offering a safe, structured, and compassionate environment to support patients in crisis and help stabilize their condition.

As part of our efforts to build a strong, multidisciplinary team, we are currently seeking a Security Supervisor. The Security Supervisor is responsible for Overseeing Security Officers and ensures the effective implementation of security protocols as directed by the Security Manager, Assistant Director of Security, and Director of Security. Performs additional duties as assigned to maintain a secure and orderly environment. The ultimate objective is to uphold a safe and tranquil atmosphere within the hospital, safeguarding patients, visitors, employees, and their property, as well as protecting the Medical Center from potential threats and theft.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 Years Security and Management experience required
  • NYS Valid Security License required, NYS Driver’s License (Preferred)
  • CPR/BASIC LIFE TRAINING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of Security Radios, Microsoft Office, Aware Manager
