The successful candidate will work with project teams to support, develop, and maintain software applications. They will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and gain experience working as an active member of a R&D Software development team.

Our teams support and develop software applications for our medical diagnostic devices and internal end-users across a global R&D organization. We focus on quality, emphasizing clean and maintainable code. We work in a highly collaborative environment, from pair programming with fellow Software Test Engineers to problem solving with colleagues from other departments. You will refine current skills, gain new skills, and grow your career while working on challenging and dynamic projects. Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Respond, communicate, and provide support for internal end-users and stakeholders
  • Develop automated tests and maintain a build system to continually evaluate software requirements
  • Ensure software meets customer expectations
  • Provide root cause analysis and work to reproduce software defects or system issues when possible
  • Continually update technical knowledge and skills, including researching new AI technologies and tools
  • Participate effectively in technical reviews as both a reviewer and reviewee
  • Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment

Qualifications -

  • Training and Education: Requires a Bachelor of Science in an engineering, scientific, or technical field.
  • Experience: 0+ years of work experience in software development or a related field.

Skills -

  • Experience with C#/.NET (or another object-oriented language)
  • Microsoft Windows OS configuration experience
  • Interested in problem solving, root cause analysis, research, and development
  • Desire to research and develop software test frameworks that incorporate new technology
