HOW WE IMPACT PATIENTS

The Therapy Area Specialist is a vital member of Finland's Customer Facing Team in Oncology. The role is responsible for driving sales excellence and fostering customer engagement for key launches and growth products within the Oncology Category in Finland. The Therapy Area Specialist will focus on creating an engaging customer experience, building and developing strong relationships with Finnish healthcare professionals (HCPs), driving brand-level growth across our expanding portfolio, and actively contributing to our renowned Customer Facing team spirit.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The Therapy Area Specialist (TAS) navigates across virtual and F2F channels and masters Pfizer Oncology at a high and detailed level. In this role you are the champion and partner in the oncology category team to ensure deep understanding for brand-level strategies and priorities. The TAS is in front line to understand the changes in local pharmaceutical business environment impacting our business.

The key responsibilities in this role are:

  • Building a strong customer network and engaging customer experience for key launches and key growth products across Oncology portfolio
  • Ensuring best-in-class customer engagement through high digital sales capability and ability to navigate through digital channels.
  • Operating as an insightful partner and customer-oriented champion within the cross-functional oncology team in making sure the agreed strategic priorities are driving the customer facing team actions.
  • High capability to prioritize, measure and improve operations based on customer insight, key KPIs, and sales metrics.
  • Mastering product life cycle management and launch excellence.
  • Possessing good understanding of Finland business environment and pharmaceutical market.
  • Contributing actively to Customer Facing Team spirit

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Willingness to learn and self-develop a deep understanding in oncology through complex scientific information.

  • Strong team player attitude and growth mindset in everyday situations
  • While highly appreciated, prior sales experience in oncology and networks in key customer groups in oncology not necessarily needed – the attitude and willingness to learn and grow is the key
  • Knowledgeable of customer preferences for content and channels to orchestrate an ideal customer experience through relevant content selection.
  • Ability to create and manage content based on customer needs and insights.
  • High digital sales capability (understanding and ability to navigate through digital channels).
  • Possessing industry leading sales excellence capability, change agility and One Pfizer mindset.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and abroad.
  • Strong skills in communication and prioritization.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English
