Job Location: Jefferson City, MO

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm - This position will work approximately 16-20 hours per week

We are looking for a part time Administrative Support Clerk to work in our front office/fiscal program. You will love this position! There is always work to be done, and you get to build relationships within the whole department and be able to communicate with customers throughout the State of Missouri.

  • Greet guests to the Department of Agriculture and ensure security for the building.
  • Answer/transfer main line phone calls.
  • Sort, accept, and/or ship daily USPS/Inter-Agency/UPS/FedEx mail and packages.
  • Scan and file fiscal documentation.
  • Submit building maintenance and repair tickets.
  • In charge of ordering the shipping and office supplies.
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned by fiscal management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent AND at least 1 year of office or administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Basic Excel knowledge
  2. Administrative office experience.
  3. Customer service experience.
