JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with experience in Cloud ERP and EPM to lead the design, configuration, functional implementation and support of a target state Cloud ERP and EPM solution. This role will focus on enabling functional capabilities within the cloud application suite with the role being responsible for detailed implementation, configuration, and optimization of Cloud ERP and EPM systems. This role involves deep functional expertise and close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure the systems meet their needs for financial processes, accounting, planning, budgeting and forecasting in a cloud environment. In partnership with our Service Provider, this role will support existing finance applications, running on multiple platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft) until the full transition to the new cloud solution is complete.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
  • 7+ years of progressive professional experience in information technology application development and support including:

o 5 + years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or Hyperion applications or equivalent tech stack.

o 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and managing Cloud ERP modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets acting as a functional SME.

  • Must have completed at least one (1) full life cycle cloud-based Oracle EPM implementation to include one of the following modules ~ EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, and/or PCMCS
  • Deep knowledge of financial processes and performance management.
  • Proficient in EPM Automate, Groovy scripting and REST APIs.
  • Proficient in Functional Set Up Manager (FSM), Application Implementation Console.
  • Experience with FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Experience integrating Cloud EPM with Cloud ERP systems (ex: Oracle Cloud ERP, PeopleSoft).
  • Experience managing quarterly releases and maintaining Cloud ERP and EPM systems accordingly.
  • Ability to manage and control deployments and migrations using Sandboxes, Configuration Set Migration (CSM) and Functional Setup Migration (FSM).
  • Ability to listen and understand business requirements, ask questions and translate the requirements into design documents.
  • Ability to elicit, organize and document detailed and comprehensive functional system configuration requirements.
  • Experience developing test plans, test scripts, and managing unit, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in Cloud ERP and EPM and follow through to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying and driving required tasks to completion in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to support all aspects of large, complex applications with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple support request while working on time sensitive projects and upgrades.
  • Experience in waterfall and/or agile software methodologies.
  • Vendor management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ domain experience relevant to supported business function; industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting processes including cyclical events like month end close, quarter close etc.
  • Understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Experience with Smart View, Analytics and BI tools.
  • Oracle certification in ERP and EPM Cloud.
  • Technology leadership experience in a sourced or internally managed environment.
  • Knowledge of related Oracle applications like Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure PaaS.
  • Experience in agile software methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with SOX processes and IT General Controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate future integration platform opportunities.

Core Work Activities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for Oracle EPM Cloud modules (ex: Planning and Budgeting Cloud (PBCS), Financial Close and Consolidation Cloud (FCCS), Profitability and Cost Management (PCM), Account Reconciliation etc.).
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Oracle ERP Cloud modules (ex: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Profit and Cost Management Cloud, Revenue Cloud etc.).
  • Lead technical design, development, configuration, deployment and support of Cloud ERP and EPM solutions.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A teams and Global Technology to gather requirements and translate them into scalable EPM designs.
  • Build and maintain data integration between EPM and source systems (ex: ERP, HCM, Data Warehouse) using Data Management, EPM Integration Agent, and REST APIs.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts and custom reports.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support planning and reporting.
  • Perform system administration tasks including metadata management, security configuration, and environment maintenance.
  • Support month end, quarter end, year end and other cyclical processes through troubleshooting, optimization, and user support.
  • Drive continuous improvement, performance tuning, and automation of financial processes.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support upgrades, patches and new features rolled out with releases.
  • Stay updated on Cloud ERP and EPM roadmap and recommended adoption of new features and tools.
  • Continue to support legacy applications until Cloud ERP and EPM are live with all modules and locations.

Technical Leadership

  • Make technical decisions and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders in discovery and definition of requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of product features.
  • Provide technology strategy feedback where appropriate
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of Corporate Systems products and services
  • Provides financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested
  • Apply knowledge/judgment to achieve business goals.
  • Foresee, identify, and resolve problems.
  • Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required for this position.

The salary range for this position is $98,500 to $174,900 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
