About the role:
This role will be responsible for developing strategic portfolio strategies to position our products with stakeholders (for example: payers, physicians, and medical associations). The role involves analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, customer behavior, and sales performance to enhance the company's marketing efforts and drive business growth in the medical device sector.
Strategic Portfolio Development:
- Develop and implement strategic portfolio strategies to position products effectively with Stakeholders (payers, physicians, and medical associations, among others).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align portfolio strategies with overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and optimization based on market analysis and customer insights.
- Develop market strategies aimed at maximizing market share, new product launches and building brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Collate market research and competitive data to enable the formation of country strategic marketing plan.
- Manage and oversee the country marketing plan and budget.
- Develop, lead and manage the execution of new product launches.
- Design & implement conferences / symposium strategies & tactics to support the country plan.
- Work with operations team to manage the supply chain for products – monthly forecasts, managing backorders & planning inventory transitions for new products.
- Spend 50% of time in the field helping to convert accounts, executing launches, clinical activities, gathering market & competitor information.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Build and develop an educational program for the FCS and for our stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support campaigns and initiatives with data-driven insights.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Provide analysis to support product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Work with the field clinical specialist team to ensure that are adequately trained. Sets up physician and staff training and education, patient education events. Monitors post training results by physician to assess cost/benefit.
Customer Insights:
- Analyze customer feedback and behavior to identify trends and preferences.
- Segment customers and create detailed profiles to support targeted marketing efforts.
Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitors’ activities, products, and strategies.
- Provide competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
- Maintain an updated database of competitive intelligence.
Required qualifications:
- Medical devices, pharma or healthcare experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or health related.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing roles.
- English fluency B2 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specially Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of P&L
- Understanding of business and financial terms
- Analysis and management of market data
- Experience in digital initiatives
- Proactivity, emotional intelligence, agility & learning communication.
- Strong organizational, selling, presentation and communication skills
- Located in Mexico City.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience managing CRM platforms as SalesForce or similars.
