About the Role:

The Area Business Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing commercial strategies for the U.S. Corporate Accounts & Healthcare Solutions organization. This highly visible role partners across all Boston Scientific divisions and collaborates with cross-functional leaders to implement strategic initiatives, optimize field sales execution, and deliver value-based solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong project management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.

In this role, you will support both commercial operations and field sales execution by building scalable frameworks, leveraging performance analytics, and delivering high-impact business solutions. A strong command of data-driven decision-making, communication, and organizational agility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of Corporate Accounts & Healthcare Solutions strategy across assigned region.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to field sales leadership by delivering data-driven insights that accelerate commercial growth.
  • Manage and execute cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives from ideation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Identify and resolve business challenges by developing targeted solutions in collaboration with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations.
  • Develop and deploy tools and customer engagement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and customer impact.
  • Analyze field needs and develop communication plans, toolkits, and execution frameworks to enable field readiness and performance.
  • Conduct market research and field assessments to identify business drivers, emerging trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field sales and sales leadership on account and business planning, launch readiness, performance analytics, and ways to differentiate Boston Scientific.
  • Create high-impact strategic content (presentations, reports, planning templates, analytics) to support executive decision-making and field engagement.
  • Translate competitive insights into actionable strategic recommendations that enhance long-term customer value.
  • Foster alignment across stakeholder groups to ensure effective execution of corporate and field-level initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Strategy, Commercial Operations, Finance, or Consulting.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of leading multiple initiatives to successful completion.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Tableau and AI tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and distill insights that guide strategic decisions.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
  • Thrives in dynamic, matrixed environments and adapts seamlessly to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
