What you’ll do

• You will champion, develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the various stakeholders
• You will create and execute a business plan that is aligned with the property and brand’s business strategy and focuses on the execution of financial and accounting activities and the delivery of desirable financial results.
• Ensures that the income statement is accurate (i.e., that costs are properly matched with revenues, that costs are recorded in the correct accounting string and period) and that statements are delivered to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
• Reconcile the P&L and BS, and ensures that account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with SOPs.
• Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
• Participates in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as needed.
• Ensures compliance with standard and local operating procedures (SOPs and LSOPs)
• Ensures that ownership permits, licenses, and, if applicable, supplier contracts are in place.
• Attend critique meetings to review information with the management team.
• Advises and/or supports the Director of Finance on existing and evolving operational/financial matters.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and get your work done.
• Supports a robust accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability, and manage business risks.

What we’re looking for

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 4 years experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area.

OR

• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 4 years experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area.
