CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Assembles, compiles, and scans company information as it pertains to tax returns, acquisition information and partnership documentation.

  • Gather, enter, and digitize existing physical documents.
  • Assist with W-9 requests and processing Tax Department mail.
  • Create reports out of company software.
  • Organize tax files and documents.
  • File any new information/material from meetings.
  • Scan copies of tax returns before they are filed with various taxing jurisdictions.
  • Scan business license into OnBase.
  • Scan Property Tax bills, assessments and valuations into OnBase or similar document storage programs.
  • Organize Personal Property Tax Returns.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Experience emailing and the ability to generate PDFs using a copy machine
  • Experience supporting a busy, high-volume environment

Preferred:

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Experience preparing and organizing exhibits
  • Experience supporting complex finance, property tax or licensing transactions.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Exposure to administrative management systems such as billing system, travel system, expense reporting system
  • Windows, MS Word, WordPerfect, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel

Preferred:

  • Experience with dictation transcription
    • Experience with Summation software
