Clean Up Operator
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning duties throughout the facility including sweeping, mopping, and debris removal
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuum systems, PIV Equipment
- Empty waste containers and ensure proper disposal of materials
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and common spaces
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
- Assist with spill response and cleanup as needed
- Document cleaning activities according to company procedures
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing cleaning preferred
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Forklift Operation
Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors in an industrial environment
- May be exposed to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals
- Required to wear safety equipment (PPE)
- May involve working around moving equipment and machinery
