SBM is looking for a Temporary Workday Testing and Reporting Lead. The Workday Testing and Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Workday reports and dashboards while managing all testing activities related to Workday configuration changes, releases, and enhancements. This role ensures data integrity, system usability, and successful delivery of Workday projects across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and other modules.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Workday reports, including calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and composite reports.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to deliver accurate, user-friendly reports to various stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver Workday report documentation and training to HR and business users.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday reporting tools, including Prism Analytics and Worksheets, if applicable.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including HRIS, HR, Payroll, Labor Relations, Leadership Development, Benefits and Finance teams to understand and support enterprise reporting needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve report-related issues, including data discrepancies or configuration gaps.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and features to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Works with Workday, Project Manager and develops overall test strategy and plan
  • Coordinates the test phases
  • Leads the development and documentation of all functional test scenarios and test scripts along with end-to-end integrations
  • Responsible/coordinates regression testing of impacted systems
  • Responsible for executing all test phases and reporting of test status on the various test cycles
  • Responsible to ensure all quality standards are met during testing
  • Oversees data conversion issues and track to resolution
  • Responsible to obtain UAT, Integration Test, conversion test approvals and sign offs
  • Collaborate with Workday and Integration Vendors

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Workday reporting, including creating advanced/custom reports.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Time Tracking preferred.
  • Experience with Prism Analytics or Workday Extend is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced/Matrix/Trending reports.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, and HR data.
  • Excel expertise; knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Temporary 3 month assignment

Schedule: Full time - Monday - Friday

Compensation: $80,000 per year
