What You’ll Do

As a Principal Software Developer on this team, you will you will be a key technical leader in the Analytics space, working with Oracle's leading Analytics Cloud products. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and development of complex Analytics solutions, requiring strong development, technical, and communication skills. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division, leveraging your advanced technical and business skills to contribute as a leading individual and team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities

About You:

  • You have extensive experience in designing and delivering Analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • You have extensive experience in designing and delivering Data Integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and OCI Data Integration (OCIDI)
  • You are an experienced data modeler with a consistent track record of designing and delivering high-scale, high-impact solutions
  • You are obsessed with the customer, always exceeding expectations
  • You have excellent communication skills. You can clearly explain complex technical concepts
  • You are a focused engineer who understands the importance of high standards, never satisfied with mediocrity and constantly striving for excellence
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity in a chaotic and fluid environment
  • You are passionate about technology and are not afraid to defend your opinions or position with peers/superiors

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years in software development or related field
  • 6-10+ years experience delivering Analytics solutions
  • Hands-on experience developing at least one full lifecycle project using OAC
  • Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
  • Strong understanding and experience with Data Integration using the Oracle tools such as ODI and OCIDI
  • Proficiency in at least two of Oracle’s four broad areas of offerings: infrastructure, database, middleware, and analytics
  • Strong knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in DevOps tools, end-to-end integration solutions, and implementation of FDI, OAC, ODI, OCIDI
  • Implementation experience with Fusion Data Intelligence and and administration/tuning experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Data Integrator
  • Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features
