About The Role:

Little Spoon is hiring an Associate, Supply Planning to support the ongoing growth of our supply chain operations as we expand our customer base and product offerings. In this role, you’ll support production planning and inventory strategy in close collaboration with our co-packers and cross-functional teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are produced and delivered efficiently, supporting new product launches, and driving improvements in our planning processes. What You’ll Do

  • Execute production plans in collaboration with co-packers to optimize finished goods inventory levels in alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Partner with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure cohesive planning and efficient execution of production schedules.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and software to generate accurate production schedules and improve operational and production efficiency.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate and adequate stock levels.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and food safety requirements.
  • Support and assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining production processes and reducing costs at co-manufacturing sites.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and presentations on production status, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders and co-manufacturers.
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure the accuracy of purchase orders (POs), invoices, and other financial tracking documentation.
  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies across production and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, and product teams to support the launch of new items by ensuring appropriate levels of inventory for cross-functional initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain and planning, ideally in food and beverage
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand and replenishment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support launches, resolve issues, and improve supply chain processes
  • Able to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and keep projects on track
  • Self-motivated, embrace initiative, and willing to get your hands dirty
  • Natural problem solver with a positive attitude and strong time management capabilities
  • Computer savvy; able to proficiently use Excel, Word, Google Docs, Slack, Inventory Management Systems
  • Knowledge of and interest in healthy food, nutrition, and helping parents and kids feel their best via what they eat
