Summary:
- Support a variety of air and space platforms recognized globally.
- Lead analysis, testing, and troubleshooting efforts while writing and reviewing reports in accordance with MIL-STD-461/464 and DO-160 standards.
- The role requires deep technical expertise and a background in aerospace or defense engineering.

- Lead EMI/EMC analysis, test development, troubleshooting, and reporting across various Boeing platforms.
- Collaborate with teammates, customers, and system architects to verify EMI/EMC requirements.
- Develop and maintain EMI/EMC control plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Perform root-cause analysis and apply mitigation techniques to ensure system safety and compatibility.
- Evaluate supplier designs and drawings to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements.
- Support EMI/EMC testing in lab and on-aircraft environments for both FAA and military standards.
- Track project status, support proposals, and provide work scope, budget, and schedule input.
- Perform Nuclear Hardening, HIRF/Lightning, RF Co-site, and antenna coupling analysis and testing.
- Coordinate and validate TEMPEST requirements.
- Develop test automation solutions for aircraft modifications.
- Conduct trade studies, modeling, and simulations to optimize component and system design.
- Apply EMI engineering expertise to resolve complex problems and document solutions.
- Present technical data in internal and external design and program review settings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Physics, or Physics.
- 9+ years of relevant work experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Interim and/or final Secret Clearance required post-start.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC standards.
- Understanding of core electromagnetic principles: shielding, grounding, filtering, RF isolation.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s, or a Master’s/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- iNARTE Certified EMC Engineer.
- TEMPEST analysis and testing experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and knowledge of digital signal processing.
- Experience with tools such as LTSpice, PSPICE, MathCAD, System Vision, AutoCAD, Mentor Graphics (DX Designer/Expedition).
- Familiarity with MS Office and presentation development for technical audiences.
- Experience developing power quality test procedures and reports.
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
