Primary Purpose:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guest rooms, grounds, and public spaces are in top-notch condition.

Work Performed:

  • Scheduled Maintenance: Keep our rooms in perfect shape with regular preventative maintenance.
  • Quick Fixes: Respond swiftly to work orders from guests and hotel associates, and keep a detailed log.
  • Electrical Repairs: Tackle minor repairs to air conditioning controls, TV sets, and lighting systems.
  • Equipment Care: Maintain and repair hotel equipment, from small appliances to HVAC systems and plumbing.
  • Pool Service: Ensure our pool is clean and chemically balanced.
  • Furniture Refurbishment: Refresh furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including painting and finishing.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Operate power equipment and hand tools for landscaping and ground maintenance year-round.
  • Tool Care: Keep grounds equipment and tools in top working order, performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Trash Removal: Keep our property pristine by removing trash daily from sidewalks, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots.
  • Guest Service: Provide friendly, prompt service to guests and associates, embodying Atrium’s Core Values.
  • Safety First: Follow all safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
  • Versatile Tasks: Take on any other tasks needed to fulfill the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least six months of maintenance experience; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing Certification preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly, bend and squat repeatedly, and walk and stand for the duration of your shift.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
