The Senior Manager of IT Asset Management & Deployment is responsible for providing strategic oversight, leadership, and execution across all restaurant-facing hardware technologies within Yum! Brands (KFC U.S.). This role leads a dedicated team tasked with managing the complete hardware lifecycle, including deployment planning, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The position ensures that all in-restaurant IT assets are aligned with organizational goals, budget requirements, and long-term technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT Asset Management team in planning, deploying, and maintaining in-restaurant hardware technology across the KFC U.S. system.
- Develop and execute lifecycle strategies for IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.
- Drive annual and quarterly forecasting and budgeting processes in partnership with Finance and vendor partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison for cross-functional collaboration with Deployment, Infrastructure, SRE, Help Desk, POS, Digital, and Franchise Operations.
- Ensure accurate allocation of team resources to projects based on skills, timelines, and capacity.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including performance management, contract negotiations, and SOW development.
- Collaborate with deployment and supply chain partners (e.g., RSCS) to ensure efficient ordering and delivery of hardware assets.
- Provide regular executive-level reporting and insights on deployment progress, asset utilization, and risk mitigation plans.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance asset tracking, reporting accuracy, and deployment efficiency.
- Support team development by mentoring direct reports, conducting performance reviews, and promoting a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Serve as the primary IT partner for new restaurant openings, ensuring all technology and hardware components are delivered, installed, and fully functional by opening day.
- Collaborate closely with Franchisees and internal support teams to confirm digital platforms (e.g., POS, mobile ordering, loyalty, and delivery integrations) are operational from Day 1.
- Lead the IT integration efforts for newly acquired restaurant locations in partnership with Franchisees, maintaining confidentiality and precision throughout the process.
- Oversee the end-to-end technology transition including hardware vendor coordination, credit card system setup, and activation of all digital platforms.
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to establish project timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure seamless execution.

- Confidential and timely IT integration of acquired restaurants into enterprise systems.
- Completion of hardware vendor setup, credit card processing systems, and digital services during acquisitions.
- Detailed project timelines and milestone tracking for new openings and acquisitions, developed and aligned with cross-functional teams.
- High franchisee satisfaction through proactive communication, planning, and execution of IT deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in asset or deployment management within a multi-unit or distributed environment.
- Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, deployment processes, and vendor contract management.
- Demonstrated leadership in vendor negotiations, project execution, and technology strategy.
- Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Smartsheet, and automation platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry experience.
- ITIL certification or equivalent process-driven framework exposure.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and technology transformation programs.
Salary Range: $122,100 to $143,600 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
