A Day in the Life

The Associate Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing payroll consolidation and ensuring compliance with established deadlines and legal regulations. The role involves monitoring overtime and additional payments, calculating withholding taxes, managing employee data for social security and EPS reimbursements, and supporting internal/external audits. The analyst will also handle payroll-related inquiries, contribute to process improvements, and participate in payroll closures and departmental initiatives. This position will be a hybrid position in Bogotá.

  • Payroll is responsible to ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy and government regulations
  • Analyze, audits, reconciles, and resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing
  • Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations
  • Research and interpret regulatory requirements and resolves tax, withholding, and garnishment issues for payroll processing
  • Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries.
  • Create standard operating procedures, responds to merger and acquisition activities.
  • May ensure time systems are compliant with company policy and government regulations.
  • May respond to and resolve employee and client inquires.
  • May work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider.
