Location: In office - Owatonna, MN
What you will do:
- Analyzes work orders to determine production schedules and work priorities.
- Directs staff members involved in tool and die work in the repair and maintenance of tooling and dies, as well as die changes.
- Maintains inventory of tooling required for production equipment.
- Works with Production Management, Maintenance team, and Engineering to make recommendations for purchased tools necessary for production. Completes CERs/POs for the purchase of tooling as needed.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Implements tooling, die, jig, and fixture changes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, quality and to reduce cost.
- Designs simple and complex machine tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Tests prototype design procedures related to tooling, die, jigs and fixtures and directs staff performing these duties.
- May lead projects related to tooling and equipment. May collaborate with Engineering on new equipment purchases.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Vocational or Technical Degree in Tool and Die or equivalent technical, scientific or engineering experience.
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solidworks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and MS Project experience
- People Leadership Experience

Pay Transparency:
The typical salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $100,000/year in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
