Nokia is seeking a high-performing IP Solution Sales Manager to lead pre-sales and relationship development in Malaysia/Singapore/Philippines, with a strong focus on Mission-critical networks and Data Center Fabric.

This role involves developing and executing sales strategies for Data Center Network solutions within key sectors (public sector, utilities, transportation, public safety, and defense) across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Responsibilities include providing pre-sales technical support, designing solutions, delivering technical presentations, and participating in RFP responses.

Key activities also encompass collaborating with sales teams to identify opportunities, conducting pre-sales testing and demonstrations, supporting Nokia's New Product Introduction (NPI) and Customer Engineering (CE) teams, and analyzing competitor offerings to improve Nokia's solutions and internal processes.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Develop clear strategy and tactics for all existing and target accounts for Data Center Network, Mission-critical segments such as Public sector, Power utility, mainrail/Metro Public Safety, Defence in Malaysia/Singapore/Philippines
  • Providing pre-sales technical support and technical expertise to solve customer’s business issues
  • Analyzing, designing and elaborating solutions to our customers and conducting technical presentations for customers at all levels
  • Participating in customer engagements and presales activities such as project and/or solutions meeting, presentation, RFP’s response, building BOM including professional services requirements
  • Working closely with IP Business Development Managers/ Sales to identify pre-sales opportunities
  • Participating or leading in customer pre-sales engagements and working with other stakeholders to propose presales activities, demos, testing, trials
  • Preparing for presales testing activities to introduce Nokia’s IP solutions and to guaranty the success of Nokia opportunities. The preparation includes but not limited to topology and hardware, high level design, test cases
  • Hand-over that information to New Product Introduction (NPI) and Customer Engineering (CE) teams and supporting them to catch up with customer testing requests
  • Supporting NPI and CE teams during the testing periods to find out critical issues if any, involving to hands-on tasks if needed, leading customer discussion to understand the use cases, working with the teams for workaround and summarize information needed for features/ hardware request
  • Collecting information about strength and weakness of Nokia’s and competitors’ products and solutions and building up lesson learnt to share among the team

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • 8-12 years of proven experience in a technology company selling to communication Enterprises and/or service providers in Data Center network, Sovereign Cloud
  • Proven experiences in Mission-critical segments such Public Safety, Public sector, Power utility, mainrail/Metro Public Safety, Defence
  • Advanced knowledge of IP routing technologies in large-scale IP networks
  • Advanced knowledge of MPLS applications such as IP VPNs, L2VPNs and traffic-engineering, SDN, Segment routing
  • Advanced knowledge of IP-based applications such as triple play and Internet technologies.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Ability to work independently while still achieving the goals, self-motivated and results-focused
  • Exposure of working on high value complex deals with ability to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external parties
  • IP certificates such as SRA, 3RP, NRSII, JNCIE, CCIE… is a plus
