We at Fairview are looking for a dedicated Patient Registration Lead to join the hardworking team at the Maple Grove Care Ambulatory Surgery Center! This is a 1.0FTE (80 hours every 2 weeks), day/evening position with rotating weekends.
The working lead serves as the "go to" person to assist with communication, coordinates and provides training, orientation, and department assimilation. Encourages and motivates team for immediate problem resolution, provides a consistent presence. Anticipates, identifies, and reports departmental areas of concern to clinic supervisor. Fosters and promotes a collaborative and helpful team environment. Completes complex and/or high-level project work but is not a substitute for team member thinking and initiative.
Coordinates daily activities of work team to ensure patient needs are met.
Responds to and helps resolve operation issues, including provider issues.
Coordinates staff orientation and training.
Promotes team environment within department, other site departments and other clinics.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
Fulfills all organizational requirements.
Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking.
Preferred:
2 years of experience in Patient Registration
