Job Description and Duties

The Administration Division is seeking applicants who can demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, project management and detail-oriented skills. Ideal candidates are proactive, skilled in developing effective working relationships, and capable of providing thoughtful, equitable solutions through consultation and training with internal and external customers, employees, managers, and supervisors across the state. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy.

Under the general direction of the Deputy Director (DD), the AGPA will perform, with a high degree of responsibility, a variety of analytical and administrative duties associated with the oversight of the management of the Administration Division. The AGPA will function with minimal instructions, utilizing tact and good judgment, in the discharge of assigned duties. In the absence of the DD, serves as liaison to staff, other departments, the California Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS), the Governor's Office, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), the California Department of General Services (DGS), stakeholders, advocates, and the public.
