[What the role is]
Assist General Manager, Heartbeat@Bedok (HBB) to oversee the Facilities Management (FM) of HBB and work with Assistant/Deputy Director (FM) in strategising, planning, implementing and managing of facilities, maintenance and operations of the hubs.
[What you will be working on]
- Oversee the day-to-day FM Operations at HBB to ensure the physical infrastructure and facilities are well maintained and kept in a good safe and safe state for community use.
- Work closely with Integrated Community Hub (ICH) FM Contract Management Team to establish processes and policies to ensure robust management of Inter-Agency Planning and Operations Group (IPOG) FM Contracts, including proper follow up on contract variations and documentation to achieve greater corporate governance.
- Prepare, control and review the operating and capital expenditure budgets including Maintenance and Sinking Funds to ensure compliance with Government procurement and financial procedures for FM and maintenance works.
- Plan, develop, implement, monitor and review the facilities maintenance programmes, standards, polices in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Facilitate Work Requests, Additions & Alterations (A&A) Works, Improvement Works and Cyclical Maintenance Programmes (CMP).
- Oversee the fitting out and re-instatement of tenanted areas to ensure tenants are in compliance with the stipulated requirements set by management.
- Prepare and submit reports, including but not limited to building users’ feedback, incident reports, reports to Advisers, IPOGs, Advisory Committees, Asset & Facilities Management (AFM) committees, and grassroots meetings.
- Performs other duties as and when assigned by senior officers.
[What we are looking for]
- Professional certification in Building, Mechanical; Electrical
- Engineering; Estate Management; Facility Management or related
- Fields
- Minimum 3 years working experience in related field. Candidates with excellent estate management and leadership skills with 5 years experience in managing commercial or sports complex or facilities management department of a retail mall will be advantageous.
- Knowledge in IT applications, architectural design, space, circulation planning and contract administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to read and understand building plans, M&E Drawings, knowledge of contract administration.
- Good interpersonal, communication, management and organization skills with positive attitude.

Successful candidates will be given a 3-year contract.
