Senior Account Executive, New Business Sales, GCS (Multiple Languages)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and either Dutch or one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish) to manage client relationships in this area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy.
  • Ability to grow in a team environment, take initiative, be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business cycle as an experienced business professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers, managing the relationship for another 6 months after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance and promote opportunities.
  • Build a robust pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in partnership with our Business Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire high touch high value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilizing full suite of Google’s marketing solutions.
  • Design marketing strategies leveraging product knowledge to drive long-­term success for our customers and achieve our objectives while making sure Google's advertisers in Northern Europe receive the best possible service.
