Patient Services Representative

Location: Roslyn NY (ONSITE NOT REMOTE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM - Must be open to working 1 Thursday per month 12PM-8PM

The Patient Services Representative (also referred to as Patient Care Representative or Patient Service Advocate) serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout the patient journey. This includes administrative, scheduling, and customer service duties..

???? Key Responsibilities

• Patient Registration: Accurately register patients and verify insurance information.
• Record Management: Maintain and update patient records with attention to confidentiality and compliance.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and manage patient appointments efficiently.
• Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance coverage and resolve discrepancies.
• Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients courteously, addressing concerns and providing support.
• Physician Correspondence: Manage communication with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Check-in Process: Facilitate patient check-in and ensure all documentation is complete 1 2 4.

???? Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare software (e.g., Athena, ECW).
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 1.

???? Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $20–$23/hour (paid weekly).
• Full-time schedules with occasional evening shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
