Job Description
We are looking for a junior software engineer with knowledge of full stack application development to help deliver an exciting roadmap of transformational work across the Forensics divisions in the UK and Europe. As a junior developer on the team, you will work with other developers, testers and the product owner to design and implement technical solutions enabling the team to deliver features and stories for our product roadmap. This role is remote, with the flexibility to attend meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth as needed.

Qualifications
As a junior software engineer, you’ll have knowledge of software development life cycles in an agile environment including story estimation, planning and grooming a product backlog. Technically you should have some practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and front-end SPA frameworks. You may also have a working knowledge of the tools to do the job such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GIT Source control and SQL Server Management Studio.

To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Security clearance is undertaken by a third party to police personnel vetting standards (NPPV/3 and SC), as such any criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
