Description
The Inpatient Medical Coder is responsible for accurately coding clinical services provided by physicians for insurance purposes, defending their audits, and writing queries to obtain additional information from physicians. This role requires proficiency in using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and 3M encoder systems. Candidates must be adaptable to support various hospitals within regional and university facilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
The candidate should possess experience in academic hospitals, demonstrating the ability to handle high acuity cases and trauma situations.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience in rehabilitation and long-term acute care (LTAC) settings, as well as inpatient audit experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
