The opportunity
As Marketing & Sales (M&S) Tools Program Manager you will be responsible for the overall M&S Tools Program success in alignment with IT and Business Stakeholders. Ensuring projects are executed in accordance with company procedures, specifications, quality standards, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Lead and oversee the Business Project Managers (BPM) team. Liaise with IT, team to deliver change requests and business requirements.

How you'll make an impact
- Lead and oversee the BPM team globally, ensuring that Hitachi Energy Policies are consistently followed
- Ensure that the global portfolio of M&S projects to develop/improve tools and apps is managed consistently, based on best practices and Hitachi Energy Policies
- Develop, customize and continuously improve standard processes and work instructions by adopting Hitachi Energy and external best practices
- Liaise with IT team to deliver change requests and business requirements
- Work with Process Governance Managers (PGM) and Business Process Owners (BPO) to drive standardization and simplification across the business
- Ensure that lessons learned from project execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated in continuous improvement actions
- Define and lead implementation of continuous improvements on project planning and execution
- Participate in the budgeting process, jointly with the Head of Sales Operations and IT team
- Support the Sales Operations Planning with other members of the M&S and IT teams and takes actions to close potential gaps in program plan
- Supervise project execution through project reviews with BPMs to ensure program stays on track with respect to budget, timeline and quality standards
- Define and manage risks throughout the program, creates mitigation strategies and effectively identifies and manages program issues
- Take an active role in resolving escalated project issues. Ensures that projects are formally delivered, as agreed with management and Business Process Owners
- Provide periodical updates and guidance to M&S and IT Joint Operating Committee
- Facilitate status reporting of program for the management teams
- Build and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Your background
- University degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or related field
- 10+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Commercial Excellence; experience in program or project management preferred
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience with program management frameworks, methodologies and tools; familiar with Lean Six Sigma
- Proven track record in program or project management in multinational settings; effective change management
- Proficiency in M&S processes and tools e.g. Sales (Salesforce), Sales Planning, Marketing Automation (Eloqua), Analytics (EDP), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Sales Enablement, Product Configuration preferred
- Knowledge of AI and ML technologies for M&S
- Leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and motivational abilities; proficient in English
- Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills
