What does a Large Store Activation Advisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Large Store Activation Advisors uses their knowledge of brand strategy and application across channel, including local marketing to support the sales team at Swire Coca-Cola. You are part of the Commercial Channel Team but work in tandem with cross functional partners to assist in developing marketing programs and promotions supporting Large Store customer strategies. You will watch metrics related to volume, revenue, and profit ensuring all program requirements align with Brand, Innovation, Commercial, and Channel Strategies. Offering continuous support to multiple product project and tasks of the large store team to keep all point of sell deliverables moving along in development to meet crucial key deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Essentially supports the Commercial Channel team with key projects, to keep development of deliverables on task to meet crucial deadlines
  • Works to coordinate & communicate all POS order reviews through the creation and placement process
  • Works with the Creative Development team to ensure all custom POS, packaging, coupons etc., protect the company’s rights, trademarks and investment while serving the best interest of our customers and assets
  • Works with various merchandising vendors on established custom projects to ensure they produce POS items that are aligned with Swire’s standards, support the team’s strategies and Picture of Success (PicOS)
  • Help negotiate pricing/quotes and merchandising enhancements with vendors to ensure Swire is getting the best, most cost-effective solutions
  • Assist in developing program materials and merch tools that will deliver desired promotional ROIs
  • Budget management and creative solutions solving
  • Understands the needs and business objectives of assigned Channels of business in order to provide tailored materials and selling tools that align with the brand and business needs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or GED) with relevant business experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 2+ years Sales or marketing experience, preferably within the consumer goods/beverages industry required
  • Experience calling on customers in Retail or Food Service on Premise required
