Your impact
At Jacobs, We are looking for a Director of Federal Corridors and Hubs. This position Oversees the Office of Federal Corridors & Hubs, which is responsible for all activities necessary to meet environmental planning documentation or preliminary engineering consistent with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Project Development phases. Directs staff, consultants, and related services needed for the advancement of the Authority’s long-range planning efforts needed for future bus and rail expansions. Manages long-range transit study processes and Federal Capital Investment Grant (CIG) processes, and FTA-mandated policies and procedures.
Prepares, administers, and maintains adherence to budget and delivery schedules. Works closely with the Office of Capital Program Delivery to ensure that projects are initiated in accordance with Capital Programs Expansion & Innovation’s (CPEI) Program Governance regulations. Responsible for representing MARTA in the region.
May be required to act on behalf of the AGM of Planning & Project Development in his/her absence.

Here's what you'll need
Ten years of experience conducting transportation and regional planning studies, along with preliminary engineering of transit projects and programs. Six years of management-level experience are required. Project or construction management experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of FTA-mandated policies, procedures, and processes (i.e., Federal Capital Investment Grant process), Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is also highly desired..
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the Executive Management Team, Board of Directors, regional partners, and project stakeholders. Experience in leading groups and projects, proven problem-solving skills, and computer literacy are required. In lieu of a degree, experience as described may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
