IT Project Manager - Senior
Provides leadership, administration, and management of the activities and resources for an assigned information technology project of complex nature, ensuring all facets of the project management processes, as identified in the project management institute's project management body of knowledge, are addressed and that proper project management documentation is developed and maintained. Ensures information technology projects are completed within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. Leads and directs the work of others.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or applicable job-related field and six (6) years of IT Project Manager or IT Management related experience or equivalent combination of Project Manager or IT Management related education/experience.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: NA
Knowledge of project management processes. Knowledge of computer systems, equipment, and applications. Knowledge of technological trends/developments in area of expertise. Verbal and written communication skills. Project management, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical personnel. Ability to establish and clarify project objectives, goals, parameters, budgets, deliverables, deadlines and the roles and responsibilities of participants. Ability to identify project and application dependencies and risks. Ability to develop and integrate policies and procedures to meet project requirements and to develop mitigation/contingency plans. Ability to organize and manage resources. Ability to prepare and present periodic project progress reports.
