Job Description

We are currently seeking a Contract Medical Office Receptionist for an exciting opportunity at our Questcare Medical Clinic – Primary Care, located onsite in Coppell/Flower Mound, TX. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

The Medical Office Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing essential administrative support across various office functions.

This is a Monday–Friday position, with no weekend shifts required. Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Paid Time Off: Envision Physician Services offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all patients as they enter the clinic.
• Checking patients in and out.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Insurance/verification related to medical benefits.
• Management of ingoing/outgoing referrals
• Completing tasks involved with value based care.
• Collecting appropriate patient balances including copays, deductibles, coinsurance and past due balances.
• Reconciling end of day collections.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

• Thorough understanding of a medical facility's processes and practices.
• Flexible and able to multitask with a sense of urgency.
• Professional and courteous communication.
• Must have flexibility to work in other local clinics to cover shifts as needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in an administrative supporting role required.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• A recent graduate of a Medical Office Administration or Medical Office Management program will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Prior EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
