The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. About Us:

As part of our team, you will solve customers’ problems in SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Task Center for automating tasks and processes across SAP and non-SAP applications.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our team for 1 year. You will play a key role in developing features and future enhancements around AI in enterprise process automation domain, collaborating closely with other developers, other cross-functional teams and functions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining functional increments
• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, UX and PM to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Contribute to documentation and help maintain code quality through peer reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues and bug fixes in a timely manner.

Technical Skills:

• Very good knowledge in Java programming language and object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
• Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP Cloud Platform) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SAP systems and enterprise software development is a bonus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies related to SAP development.
• Ability to work independently and proactive in seeking guidance when needed.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality software and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Internship or coursework related to Java programming or enterprise software is advantageous.
