We are looking for a Solution Advisor (Presales) to join the SEA S/4HANA Logistics and SCM Solution Advisory Team. In this role as solution advisor your focus will be on the positioning SAP Business Suite solutions with a strong focus on logistics related solutions as part of Core ERP.
This team has been formed out of the need to engage deeply with our customers, partners, and field sales - focusing on driving innovation, and through emphasizing the value of adopting the end-to-end processes in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management that SAP can deliver.
PURPOSE
SAP’s Solution Advisory organization is essential in helping our customers drive their Digital Transformation by delivering simplified and innovative solutions in Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Asset Management, and Service.
THE ROLE
The position requires the full presales ownership of S/4HANA Logistics and SCM solutions, actively support sales opportunities from early discovery phase to closing, as well as to support demand generation activities, enablement and thought leadership to drive the solution portfolio in our region.
You will work in a team of product experts in SAP S/4HANA Logistics (Public and Private Cloud) and SAP SCM solutions, and will be involved in sales cycles across the SEA Market Unit as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy.
A Solution Advisor interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Solution Advisor during an active sales cycle is to provide deep subject matter expertise and content and use this expertise to gain understanding of customer requirements and identify the SAP solutions than can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. In addition to deal support, a Solution Advisor collaborates with sales and customer advisory teams to plan and execute demand generation strategies using innovative tools and techniques.
The role requires functional expertise in the domain of SAP S/4HANA Logistics and extending into SAP Supply Chain Management portfolio. By design this role partners closely with the regional & market unit sales teams and works cross-functionally to drive alignment & integration with various functions (Sales, Presales, Architecture Advisory, Industry Advisory, Value Advisory, Solution Management and Partner Ecosystem Success) to meet & exceed SAP growth objectives.
