OVERVIEW

The Retail Operations Lead plays a key role in optimizing and supporting Alo’s in-store technology and inventory systems, with a primary focus on RFID integration. This individual will partner closely with field teams, Retail Operations senior leadership, and cross-functional departments to ensure operational excellence across all locations.The role combines system expertise, project management, and hands-on store support, ensuring RFID systems and related operational processes drive accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Alo’s store operations, policies, procedures, and systems—particularly RFID and Inventory Management.
  • Conduct in-store immersion to proactively identify operational opportunities and recommend improvements, system enhancements, or process updates.
  • Support the pilot and rollout planning of operational and RFID-related initiatives, including project management, documentation, and communication strategy.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of policies and procedures, ensuring accessibility and clarity for store teams.
  • Monitor and respond to store ticketing, identify trends, and drive updates to policy and procedure to address recurring issues.
  • Provide technical and operational support to field teams, assisting with RFID, POS, and inventory-related system/data troubleshooting.
  • Partner with Asset Protection to share relevant insights, system activity, and updates that support loss prevention and operational integrity.
  • Produce and maintain routine and ad hoc reporting to support decision-making and surface insights around inventory and system performance.
  • Support New Store Opening Team (NSOs) by providing support for RFID-related issues, ensuring systems are set up and functioning properly.
  • Take on additional Retail Operations tasks, as assigned by the manager, to support the overall success of store operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or systems support (RFID experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of retail store systems, including POS, RFID, inventory software, and operational workflows
  • Experience managing or supporting technology rollouts and operational changes in a multi-store environment
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex procedures simply
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to travel occasionally for store visits, immersions, or new store support

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
