Cook Medical is seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager 1 to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this full-time, exempt role, you will play a key part in driving our company's business growth and brand positioning through innovative marketing strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work on a global scale, helping develop new products and executing marketing plans that support our specialty products and overall corporate goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with specialty marketing leaders to align priorities, projects, and plans within the specialty.
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans that support business objectives, enhance brand perception, and align with brand strategy.
- Create go-to-market strategies in partnership with product management, sales, and global teams.
- Develop value propositions, claims, and messaging consistent with brand guidelines.
- Lead the execution of product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Utilize customer personas and buyer journeys to inform marketing strategies.
- Review and approve marketing materials and campaign tactics, ensuring compliance with advertising regulations.
- Engage with customers and subject matter experts to understand market needs and inform marketing initiatives.
- Establish objectives for marketing campaigns and events, including customer meetings.
- Manage large, complex marketing initiatives involving cross-functional teams.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive workplace culture, maintaining high standards of professionalism and company values.
- Communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in strategic marketing.
- Proven experience in developing marketing strategies that drive business success.
- Experience in brand management and product marketing.
- Ability to work independently, analyze root causes of complex issues, and manage cross-functional projects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and operational skills.
