JOB TITLE: Black Belt

LOCATION: 2045 Kerper Blvd, Dubuque, IA 52001

JOB DUTIES: The purpose of this role is to lead Lean Six Sigma projects, primarily within the Renewal by Andersen division. Projects may include suppliers or other partners. Projects assigned will typically have moderate technical complexity and low/moderate cultural complexity. Two or three projects will typically be active at any one time. Projects will typically be focused on process improvement, but may include smaller scope process design or product/service design. The role will also involve project coaching of 1 or 2 Green Belts. The role includes participating in the training of Green Belts and White Belts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project Execution. Execute Lean Six Sigma projects, including the facilitation of project teams, using Lean-Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and tools to achieve

significant, sustained improvements to manufacturing and transactional business processes.

  • Two or three projects will typically be active at any one time, which will typically be of moderate technical complexity and low/moderate cultural complexity.
  • Project Coaching & Informal Training. Provide leadership, technical and cultural guidance, consulting, and coaching on Lean-Six Sigma principles and tools to project team members and associates.
  • Coach 1 or 2 Green Belts.
  • Formal Training. Participate in training Green Belts, White Belts, and other employees in the Enterprise on Lean-Six Sigma tools and methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, engineering field (industrial, manufacturing, management)
  • 24 months employment experience as engineer, including Engineering Intern,

Engineering Technician, as well as other related engineering roles, including duties as

an engineer working in product development

SALARY: $78,645

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
