This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking an experienced Child Personal Support Worker to help a young boy with special needs at his home and in the community. The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for ensuring the boy is always supervised and to assist his parents with his cares. Care needs include bathing, toileting, meal/snack prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, appointments, and community outings. The ideal candidate will be confident, patient, reliable, and willing to engage with the child.

This amazing, sweet boy enjoys animals, going to cabin up north, 4-wheeling, music, learning numbers/letters. He has an adaptive bike and loves to swim.

Location: Green Bay, WI

Pay: $20 per hour

Hours:

• 54 hours per month
• Family prefers Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• 3:30pm to 7pm

Skills:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aide Certifications
• Experience working with children with special needs/autism
• Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
