POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist is responsible for programming, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing assets. Duties include HVAC systems, PLC control systems, SCADA control systems and powder coat paint systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors and maintains plantwide HVAC assets.
- Performs grounding complexities associated with Powder coat systems.
- Completes work on PLC Controlled Systems.
- Troubleshoots and repairs simple and complex pneumatic systems.
- Performs starting, interlocking, safety integration, load monitoring and measuring 4-20millamp to 120-volt controls.
- Repairs and maintains building systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance as required.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Degree: Trade, Tech or Vocational Education in Industrial Maintenance
- Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Working knowledge of HVAC and compressed air units (inspection, troubleshooting and repair)
- Working knowledge of PLC (Rockwell) programming and troubleshooting
- The ability to read, understand, edit, and write ladder logic programming
- SCADA comprehension and setup
- Working knowledge of Powder Coat Paint System maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain, measure, adjust voltages, and grounding complexities associated with Powder Coat Systems
- Working knowledge of Electrical Control Systems (starting, interlock, safety integration, load monitoring, and measuring 4-20 milliamp to 120-volt controls)
- Must be able to read and comprehend drawings for electrical systems, electrical diagrams and schematics
- General OSHA safety, LOTO knowledge and practices, NEC, NFPA, OSHA guidelines and application
