Brown & Brown is seeking an Insurance Assistant to join our growing team in Destin, FL!

The Insurance Assistant supports by assisting with policy checking, submission preparation, claims analysis, and clerical tasks such as document management and data entry. This role also includes working with carrier websites, handling special projects, and providing front desk support as needed.

How You Will Contribute:

• Assist with policy, and endorsement checking for commercial P&C accounts.
• Assist with the submission process, including claims analysis, updating accords, and supplemental apps.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and account overviews.
• Assist with loss runs, MVR orders, and certificates of insurance.
• Perform Clerical functions including, but not limited to scanning, proofreading, and photocopying documents.
• Assist with entering data into applications as needed.
• Review, file, and assign documents/tasks into ImageRight.
• Accessing various carrier sites to download policy docs.
• Back-up the front desk as needed.
• Special Projects as needed.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
